'sell your life':
audial commentary on usage of social media in relation to one subconsciously wanting 'control' and the illusion of control that the aforementioned social media gives. to rephrase: some sounds with an underlying conceptual focus on the effects of social media, and how we use it to try and control external perceptions of us, though we're seemingly so quick to turn a blind eye to how much the aforementioned is actually controlling us. the amount that one will go through to look 'cool'. to show themselves. to hide themselves. to look like they 'don't care'. all under the idea that one is 'pushing' their 'brand'. even at the cost of what is basically high-level voyeurism. or, is it, in fact, 'not that serious'?
just something to think about.
___
internet money:
are you selling your life?
pushing your brand? what is a 'brand' to you? is your brand simply what you physically create, and the merit that that has? or is your brand something that consists of the things you believe/represent as a whole?
if you don't create a physical product, and your product is 'you' (what you have to say, your face, your style/energy, etc.), are you truly selling yourself?
are you selling your life?
do you even care?
or is it, again, in fact, 'not that serious'?
this is all just 'food for thought'
all i know is that if you stop caring, and if you stop dreaming..
that is true disillusionment
never give up
aim for originality
strive for truth
